BJP Unveils Election Manifesto for Telangana, Promising Key Reforms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad November 18<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In its manifesto for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections on November 30, the BJP has pledged significant changes, including reducing VAT on petrol and diesel, scrapping religion-based reservations, and establishing a committee to draft a Uniform Civil Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If elected, the BJP commits to appoint Telangana’s first Chief Minister from the Backward Classes and initiate a commission, led by a retired Supreme Court judge, to investigate corruption allegations against the current government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The party also vows to introduce free Ram Mandir and Kashi Yatra for senior citizens, officially commemorate September 17 as Hyderabad Liberation Day, and replace the existing Dharani system with a more secure Mee-Bhoomi system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other promises include a new nodal ministry for implementing government schemes, a dedicated department for overseas residents, especially Gulf residents, and fast-tracking SC sub-categorization in reservations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The manifesto, titled ‘Mana Modi Guarantee, Mana BJP Bharosa,’ outlines the BJP’s commitment to abolishing ‘unconstitutional’ religion-based reservations while increasing quotas for OBCs, SCs, and STs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, the BJP pledges Rs 2,500 as input assistance to small farmers, development of Nizamabad Turmeric City, free laptops for college-going girl students, and a fixed deposit at the birth of a newborn girl child, redeemable at the age of 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ujjwala beneficiaries are promised four free gas cylinders, and women self-help groups will receive loans at a nominal interest rate of 1%. Furthermore, the BJP assures a transparent and time-bound completion of the entire TSPSC recruitment process within six months, aligning it with UPSC standards.
