The IMD has forecasted shallow fog in Delhi, with the maximum temperature expected to hover around 17 degrees Celsius. Palam recorded the lowest visibility at 800 m at 8:00 a.m., and Safdarjung recorded 500 m visibility from 5:30 to 7 a.m., with minimum temperatures standing at 7.9 and 5.3 degrees, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indian Railways reported delays affecting 20 trains bound for Delhi, attributed to various factors, including fog-related issues in the northern region. The highest reported delay for trains arriving in Delhi is six hours and 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the air quality in several stations across the city remained in the ‘very poor’ category. In the Anand Vihar area, PM 2.5 levels were recorded at 372 (‘very poor’), and PM 10 reached 284 (‘poor’), according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the T3 terminal of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, PM 2.5 levels were observed at 329 (‘very poor’), while PM 10 was at 235 (‘poor’).
