Highlighting the potential severity of the impending heat wave, Kumari emphasized the likelihood of temperatures soaring up to 45 degrees Celsius in districts such as Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, and Khammam. She stressed the importance of educating citizens on necessary precautions to combat the summer heat effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Kumari further disclosed that significant efforts have been made to ensure adequate supplies of ORS packets, IV fluids, and medications across all districts, readily accessible through primary health centers and sub-centers. Additionally, she underscored the importance of advising children and the elderly against outdoor activities during peak sun hours, particularly between 11 am to 4 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moreover, Kumari announced the appointment of special officers at the mandal and village levels to oversee water supply, with district-level officers designated to monitor daily fresh water distribution. In cases of water supply disruptions, she suggested tapping into agricultural wells for temporary relief and deploying water tankers as necessary. Notably, repairs and maintenance of borewells and pipelines have been completed to prevent leakage and ensure uninterrupted water supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To address agricultural concerns, Kumari revealed the establishment of 7149 procurement centers across the state for the purchase of Yasangi paddy. She emphasized the swift initiation of educational initiatives under the Mana Ooru-Manabadi program in government schools and urged action against individuals engaged in unauthorized procurement of paddy below the minimum support price (MSP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
