According to the guidelines issued on Wednesday, children who turn six years old by April 1, 2024, will be eligible for admission to Class 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These directives align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes developmental readiness and uniformity in educational standards across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
P.S. Baghel, Director of Basic Education, has instructed all district education officers to conduct enrolment drives and reintegrate out-of-school children by the end of April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Children below the age of six will be enrolled in kindergarten, as per the instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government, in accordance with the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009, aims to ensure universal access to education for all children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instructions have been provided regarding the enrolment process, which includes registering students’ Aadhaar numbers. In cases where students do not possess Aadhaar, details of their parents will suffice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parents without Aadhaar are required to obtain one within two weeks of enrolment. Additionally, the enrolment register must include the names of both parents. In the event of the parents’ demise, the name of the legal guardian will be recorded.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
