{"id":16534,"date":"2024-04-12T22:19:57","date_gmt":"2024-04-12T16:49:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vglobenews.com\/?p=16534"},"modified":"2024-04-12T22:19:59","modified_gmt":"2024-04-12T16:49:59","slug":"india-launches-worlds-fastest-charging-electric-three-wheeler","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vglobenews.com\/?p=16534","title":{"rendered":"India Launches World&#8217;s Fastest-Charging Electric Three-Wheeler"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>India Welcomes World&#8217;s Fastest-Charging Passenger Electric Three-Wheeler<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">India took a significant step towards its electric mobility aspirations with the launch of a passenger electric three-wheeler, touted as the world\u2019s fastest-charging EV, on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Omega Seiki Mobility, in collaboration with Exponent Energy, introduced the electric three-wheeler equipped with rapid-charging capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Priced at Rs 3,24,999, the &#8216;OSM Stream City Qik&#8217; EV boasts the capability to charge from zero to 100 per cent within 15 minutes, utilizing Exponent\u2019s rapid charging network available in six cities, as per the company&#8217;s statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility, highlighted, \u201cBy minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency on the road, the Qik ensures that every journey translates into tangible financial gains for our drivers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vehicle comes with a warranty of 2 lakh kms or five years, whichever comes first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exponent Energy announced plans to deploy 100 charging stations in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru this year, with further expansion into Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arun Vinayak, Co-founder and CEO of Exponent Energy, emphasized, \u201cThis dual benefit of maximum revenue and lower cost unlocks the highest possible profit a user can extract from their Exponent-powered EV compared to any other EV or ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Featuring an 8.8 kWh proprietary battery pack, the passenger EV offers a city drive range of 126 kms on a single charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In January, the country witnessed sales of passenger three-wheelers surpassing 53,537 units, reflecting a growing demand for electric vehicles in the Indian market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>India Welcomes World&#8217;s Fastest-Charging Passenger Electric Three-Wheeler India took a significant step towards its electric mobility aspirations with the launch of a passenger electric three-wheeler, touted as the world\u2019s fastest-charging EV, on Friday.
