Film producer Karmikonda Narendra from Hyderabad has raised allegations of unfairness surrounding the title of his upcoming movie, “Kubera”. Narendra claims to have registered the title with the Telangana Film Chamber and asserts that the film’s production is already in its final stages, with shooting completed and the project currently in the dubbing phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Narendra recently found himself embroiled in a dispute as another film, also titled “Kubera,” allegedly emerged, helmed by director Shekhar Kammula. According to Narendra, this new film starring Tamil actor Dhanush is causing confusion and infringement on his registered title. Despite his complaints to the Film Chamber of Commerce, Narendra claims to have received no response, prompting him to escalate the matter to the High Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expressing his distress, Narendra emphasized the efforts and resources invested in his project, stating that it is unjust for another film to adopt the same title at such a late stage of production. Furthermore, he accused the Film Chamber of Commerce of favoring a larger production banner, Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, allegedly without proper consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to the perceived lack of action, Narendra vows to pursue legal recourse, affirming his readiness for any ensuing legal battle. He urges the Film Chamber of Commerce to acknowledge his rights as the registered title holder and demands a swift resolution to the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
