Hyderabad, April 19: The relentless advance of summer in Telangana has brought scorching temperatures, with the mercury rising above the 45-degree Celsius mark in six districts on Thursday. Nalgonda’s Madgulapalli and Manchiryala’s Hajipur endured the highest temperatures at 45.2 degrees Celsius, setting a record for the season’s peak. The blistering heat extended its grip across the state, with Mulugu’s Kashindevpet, Warangal’s Gorrekunta, Vanaparthi’s Velgondal, and Jagityala’s Velgatur also experiencing temperatures surpassing the 45-degree mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a widespread phenomenon, temperatures soared above 44 degrees Celsius in an additional 16 districts, signaling an early and intense onset of summer. Notably, only four districts were spared from the searing heat. The relentless rise in temperatures has been accompanied by severe hailstorms, casting a shadow of concern over agricultural activities and infrastructure across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In response to the escalating weather conditions, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for all districts, cautioning residents to brace themselves for continued high temperatures and the possibility of severe hailstorms for the next two days. The forecast also suggests a shift in weather patterns, with moderate to heavy rains anticipated from Sunday onwards, attributed to the influence of the approaching Droni weather system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
