Bengaluru, May 21: Bengaluru Police Commissioner B. Dayananda confirmed on Tuesday that popular Telugu actress Hema was present at a rave party in Bengaluru where drugs were seized. The police raided the party on Monday, uncovering substances such as MDMA, cocaine, and hydro ganja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to reporters, Commissioner Dayananda stated, “Actress Hema had attended the rave party which was raided by police.” This comes after Hema released a video claiming she was in Hyderabad and denying her presence at the party. The Commissioner added, “We are investigating the circumstances under which she made the video at the Bengaluru farmhouse.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sources revealed that Hema had pleaded with police officers during the raid, asking them not to reveal her identity. She then sneaked out, recording a video from the farmhouse premises, falsely claiming she was in Hyderabad. The police have photos of Hema at the party, wearing the same dress as in the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commissioner Dayananda clarified that no elected representatives were present at the rave party. Blood samples of the attendees have been collected for testing. He said, “The rave party was organized in the Electronics City region and was titled \u2018Sunset to Sunrise Victory.\u2019 More than 101 persons attended the party.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The raid led to the arrest of Y.M. Arunkumar, Raj, L. Vasu, and D. Nagababu. The Anti-Narcotics Wing of the CCB is awaiting the results of blood tests and plans to question participants who test positive for drug use. The party organizer had flown over 25 people from Andhra Pradesh to Bengaluru for the event, held at the G.M. Farmhouse in Singena Agrahara near Electronics City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investigations revealed that an individual from Hyderabad organized the party under the pretext of a birthday celebration.
