This development addresses a high-demand market that previously lacked an effective robotic solution. Cardiac surgery often involves a maximally invasive approach, requiring the splitting of the patient\u2019s sternum to gain access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The advanced SSI Mantra system, already used in over 1,000 procedures globally, has successfully executed surgeries such as Totally Endoscopic Coronary Artery Bypass (TECAB), Internal Mammary Artery (IMA) Takedown, Mitral Valve Replacement, and Bilateral Internal Mammary Artery (BIMA) Takedown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system aims for &#8220;precise execution, less trauma, reduced blood loss, quicker recoveries, and lower cost and superior overall outcomes,&#8221; Dr. Srivastava noted.
