The program aims to address eye-related issues among the people in the state. The program involves conducting eye exams and providing free reading glasses, medicines, and surgeries to the people in need. The program is being implemented vigorously throughout the state with continuous monitoring, daily reviews, analysis, video conferences, and meetings to achieve the targets set by the government. The progress of the program is being monitored daily by the Chief Secretary. So far, 63,82,201 eye examinations have been conducted, and 11,40,050 reading glasses have been provided.
