PM Modi emphasized the importance of educating today’s youth about the Emergency to illustrate the dangers of authoritarian rule. “Although the Emergency occurred half a century ago, it remains crucial for today’s youth to understand its lessons, as it serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of trampling over constitutional values, stifling public opinion, and undermining institutions,” PM Modi emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
