Narasimha Reddy Steps Down from Telangana Electricity Judicial Enquiry Commission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement issued today, former Chief Justice of Patna High Court, L. Justice Reddy explained that nearly every other day, the commission held press briefings which led reporters to seek comments from his office as well. To address the speculative news reports that emerged when no briefings were held, Justice Reddy organized a conference to update the media on the inquiry&#8217;s scope and progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He emphasized the importance of transparency, noting that the commission&#8217;s hearings are inherently public. A notification was issued inviting public representations, reflecting this commitment to openness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justice Reddy underscored the principle that a judge, or former judge, should never have to assert their impartiality, as doing so could undermine the integrity of their office. In a gesture to uphold the dignity of the judiciary, he expressed his intention to resign from the commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justice L.
