Special Judge Kaveri Baweja of the Rouse Avenue Court passed the order following the expiration of Kejriwal&#8217;s previously granted judicial custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, the Delhi High Court reserved its verdict on a plea filed by CM Kejriwal challenging his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the corruption case. The Bench, led by Justice Neena Bansal Krishna, also reserved its verdict on Kejriwal&#8217;s plea seeking release on interim bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On July 12, the Supreme Court ordered CM Kejriwal to be released on interim bail in connection with the money laundering case linked to the excise policy case. However, Kejriwal has remained in custody due to his arrest by the CBI in the corruption case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The extension of judicial custody means that CM Kejriwal will continue to remain in jail as the legal proceedings unfold.
