19 Students from GVR Karate Academy Selected for National Karate Competition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad, 31 <\/strong>July 2024 \u2013 Nineteen students from the GVR Karate Academy in Telangana have been selected to compete in the 10th Shotokan National Karate Competition, which will be held on August 4th in Bengaluru. Among the selected students, twelve are girls and seven are boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. GS Gopal Reddy, Director of the GVR Karate Academy, expressed his pride in the students\u2019 achievements. Central Zone Additional DCP B. Anand also extended his congratulations to the selected students, emphasizing the importance of balancing academics with physical activities for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today’s children are the citizens of tomorrow. Self-defense education is crucial, especially for girls, to prevent incidents like those that recently occurred in Bangalore. It is essential for women and girls to learn self-defense,” said DCP Anand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
