Hyderabad, September 01<\/strong>: Despite the heavy rain, nature enthusiasts flocked to the Necklace Road People’s Plaza to buy plants at the ongoing nursery fair. Braving the downpour on Saturday, visitors eagerly picked up a variety of plants, showing their love for nature and commitment to a greener future. Environmentalists at the event emphasized that planting trees is crucial for securing a better future for coming generations, asserting that a love for nature reflects a love for a sustainable society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The All-India Horticulture and Agriculture Show, which commenced on Thursday at the Necklace Road People’s Plaza, has been a major attraction for Hyderabad residents. The exhibition features innovative gardening technologies, such as vertical gardening, hydroponic systems, and terrace gardening, which have captivated attendees. A wide range of plants are on display, including kitchen garden plants, outdoor plants, exotic varieties, bulbs, seeds, succulents, indoor plants, bonsai, creepers, and flowers. Visitors can also find imported plants from across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 150 stalls representing various cities like Darjeeling, Kolkata, Delhi, Haryana, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Shirdi, Kadiam, Chennai, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, the fair showcases an impressive variety of bonsai trees, flowering plants, and fruit plants. Khalid Ahmed, the event coordinator, highlighted that terrace, home, and backyard gardening can significantly reduce mental stress and promote health and happiness among urban dwellers who lead busy lives. He encouraged everyone to visit the fair, which is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fair also features medicinal plants, diverse fruit and flower plants, as well as agricultural and horticultural tools, all available for purchase. The nursery fair remains a vibrant celebration of horticulture, encouraging everyone to contribute to environmental conservation by cultivating plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
