The CMDs of Discoms have approved including the personal pay of artisan employees in the BASIC as well. A two-hour discussion was held at Vidyut Soudha on Friday between Power Employees JAC, Discom CMDs, and Transco CMDs regarding the salary revision of electricity employees.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During the discussion, the management informed the employees that Power Minister Jagdish Reddy would announce the decision on fitment and GPF. The representatives of the employees JAC chairmen and conveners expressed satisfaction with the management&#8217;s agreement to resolve the pending issues, including increasing medical credit card facilities from Rs.5 lakhs to Rs.7 lakhs, raising the self-funding scheme from Rs.6 lakhs to Rs.12 lakhs, and applying the &#8220;gratuity&#8221; applicable to government employees to electricity workers. The management also agreed to increase house rent allowance from Rs.20 thousand to Rs.25 thousand.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CMDs Prabhakarrao, Raghumareddy, Annanneni Gopalraoula, JAC leaders Saibabu, Ratna Karrao, Shivaji, Anjaiah, Sharip, Sridhar, BC Reddy, Wazir, Anil, Koduru Prakash, Shetty, and others participated in the discussions.
