The delegation expressed their enthusiasm for adopting a similar approach to rejuvenate Hyderabad&#8217;s Musi River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While standing near the Cheonggyecheon stream, MP Kirankumar Reddy shared insights into how the Telangana government, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, plans to transform the Musi River. The Musi River redevelopment project will see the removal of structures in the riverbed and buffer zone, with water from the Godavari River diverted into Musi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Telangana government aims to construct elevated corridors, roads, bridges, and metro rail infrastructure along the river, spanning 110 square kilometers on both sides of Musi. This area will be leased to private companies under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, with companies developing commercial and entertainment facilities on the leased land for a period of 30 to 50 years.
