The Deccan Journalist Housing Society (DJHS) has expressed appreciation for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s recent announcement, promising house plots for journalists in the upcoming Fourth City within Future City, Hyderabad. On Sunday, hundreds of DJHS members visited Future City, holding a general meeting at Mirkhanpet near NetZero City to formally welcome the CM\u2019s announcement and offer special thanks to Information Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Media Academy Chairman Srinivas Reddy for their roles in advancing this initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DJHS President Bolloju Ravi, alongside Vice President Maripala Srinivas, Treasurer Chilukuri Ayyappa, and Directors Danda Ramakrishna, Dega Kumar, and Nagaraju, addressed the meeting, expressing hopes that Fourth City would soon develop as a thriving hub for Hyderabad\u2019s journalist community. Ravi highlighted that the Amazon Data Center has already been established in the area and that the government has ambitious plans to expand the region with projects like Hi-Tech City and Gachibowli, along with enhanced metro connectivity, which will benefit all communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vice President Maripala Srinivas noted that the government\u2019s plan to develop Future City across 20,000 acres is an impressive commitment, and CM Revanth Reddy\u2019s pledge to allot housing plots to journalists has generated a sense of optimism among media professionals. He further emphasized that upcoming projects, such as a Skill University, the World Trade Center, and artificial intelligence facilities, will enhance the area\u2019s development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treasurer Chilukuri Ayyappa praised the government for its role in compensating local farmers who have contributed land and providing the necessary resources for Future City\u2019s development. Ayyappa also spoke on the rising property values in the region, emphasizing the importance of timely allotments for journalists to ensure housing access in a rapidly developing area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director Danda Ramakrishna reflected on the evolution of Hyderabad\u2019s real estate landscape, noting that, when Hi-Tech City was first developed, most journalists were unfamiliar with areas beyond Jubilee Hills. He mentioned past experiences, such as the allotment of plots in Gopanpally and Jubilee Hills, underscoring the value that Future City now represents for journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
