The case involved a stampede at Vadodara railway station during the promotion of Shah Rukh Khan\u2019s film Raees, which resulted in one death and several injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Background of the 2017 Stampede Case<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the promotion of Raees, Shah Rukh Khan had thrown merchandise such as smiley balls and T-shirts into a crowd, leading to a stampede. Congress leader Jitendra Solanki subsequently filed a complaint against the actor, which prompted a local court to summon him.
