New Delhi, Dec 26, 2024: India mourns the loss of one of its most respected leaders, Dr. Manmohan Singh, who passed away on Thursday evening at the age of 92. The former Prime Minister had been under treatment for age-related ailments and suffered a sudden loss of consciousness at his residence earlier in the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Singh was rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, at 8:06 PM, where resuscitative efforts were initiated. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he could not be revived and was pronounced dead at 9:51 PM.
