Davos, January 23, 2025<\/em>: Telangana has made a significant mark at the World Economic Forum in Davos, securing investment commitments worth \u20b91,78,950 crore from 20 domestic and global companies. These investments are expected to create 49,500 jobs across the state. Led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and IT Minister Sridhar Babu, the “Telangana Rising Team” played a pivotal role in attracting industries to the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In comparison to last year\u2019s Davos visit, where investments totaled \u20b940,232 crore, this year\u2019s commitments have more than quadrupled. Key agreements were signed in the fields of data centers, artificial intelligence, energy, and manufacturing, cementing Hyderabad\u2019s status as a hub for innovation and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amazon\u2019s \u20b960,000 Crore Data Center Investment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A major highlight was Amazon Web Services\u2019 (AWS) decision to invest \u20b960,000 crore in Hyderabad to expand its data center infrastructure. AWS Global Public Policy Vice President Michael Punke met CM Revanth Reddy and Minister Sridhar Babu to discuss the project. This investment will support the growth of AI-driven cloud services, reinforcing Hyderabad\u2019s position as the data center capital of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tilman Global, Blackstone, and Ursa Clusters Lead the Way<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Blackstone Lumina<\/strong> will establish a \u20b94,500 crore, 150 MW data center in Hyderabad in collaboration with JCK Infra.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

        Hyderabad: A Preferred Destination for Investment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        CM Revanth Reddy emphasized that Hyderabad\u2019s liberal industrial policies, Clean and Green Policy, and the proposed “Future City” have significantly contributed to attracting investments. Minister Sridhar Babu stated that Telangana\u2019s roadmap for the Young India Skill University, Regional Ring Road, and Metro expansion also impressed industrialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
