Speaking at the Indian Green Building Council\u2019s Green Telangana Summit-2025 during the \u201cGreen Crusaders\u201d programme, Reddy said the move is aligned with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy\u2019s vision of extending metro services in four directions across Hyderabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reddy assured that these new corridors will transform the city&#8217;s landscape, propelling Hyderabad toward world-class status and higher living standards. The DPRs are part of the Metro Rail Phase-2 Part-B project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/vglobenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/202302111445504895795991979341193.jpg?resize=600%2C400&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21719\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/vglobenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/202302111445504895795991979341193.jpg?w=600&amp;ssl=1 600w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/vglobenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/202302111445504895795991979341193.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative follows the Telangana Chief Minister\u2019s approval on September 29, 2024, of Phase II corridors, which includes routes connecting Hyderabad to the airport and linking Chandrayangutta to MGBS for the Old City. A total of 116.2 kilometres has been approved for these new corridors. The airport-bound line will pass via Aramghar, while the Old City corridor is set to traverse the Darul Shifa Purani Haveli area, potentially affecting several historical monuments associated with the Shia Muslim community. Reddy also instructed director NVS Reddy to expedite the DPRs and forward them to the Government of India for approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/vglobenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1866788-metro7638615489312378707.jpg?resize=300%2C180&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21721\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/vglobenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1866788-metro7638615489312378707.jpg?resize=300%2C180&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/vglobenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1866788-metro7638615489312378707.jpg?w=565&amp;ssl=1 565w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The planned Paradise-Medchal corridor will cover approximately 23 kilometres, passing through Tadband, Bowenpally, Suchitra Circle, Kompally, Gundlapochampally, Kandlakoya, and the ORR exit. Similarly, the JBS-Shamirpet corridor will span about 22 kilometres through Vikrampuri, Kharkhana, Tirumalagiri, Lothukunta, Alwal, Bollaram, Hakimpet, Tumkunta, and the ORR exit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These measures are expected to significantly enhance connectivity and address the current shortfall in last-mile connectivity, as the Hyderabad Metro Rail presently terminates at Parade Ground in
