Revanth Reddy inaugurated BioAsia-2025<\/strong>, reaffirming Hyderabad\u2019s status as a global leader in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Addressing dignitaries, industry leaders, and experts from around the world, the Chief Minister outlined the state’s ambitious plans to drive innovation, research, and economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad: A Global Life Sciences Hub<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CM Revanth Reddy emphasized that BioAsia has positioned Hyderabad as a key player in the global healthcare sector. “BioAsia is not just shaping the future of healthcare but also attracting top minds and investments from across India and the world,” he said. He noted that several globally renowned pharmaceutical, healthcare, and biotech companies operate from Hyderabad, reinforcing the city\u2019s reputation as the \u201cLife Sciences Capital of the World.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investments in Research, Innovation, and Higher Education<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Highlighting Telangana\u2019s commitment to research and innovation, the CM stated that the government has consistently invested in higher education, producing a large pool of scientists, technologists, and engineers. The establishment of Genome Valley<\/strong> has been a significant milestone in this journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He reiterated the state\u2019s vision to transform Telangana into a trillion-dollar economy<\/strong> over the next decade, with a strong focus on Hyderabad\u2019s core urban services sector<\/strong> and the development of Future City and AI City<\/strong> projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electric Vehicles and Industrial Expansion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad has also emerged as the EV capital of India<\/strong>, registering the highest sales of electric vehicles in the country. The state government is set to introduce 3,000 electric buses<\/strong> in the RTC fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, CM Reddy announced plans to develop a manufacturing hub between the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and the Regional Ring Road (RRR)<\/strong>, making it one of the largest manufacturing centers in the world. “We aim to position Telangana as a key player in the China Plus One<\/strong> strategy by attracting global investments,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the World Economic Forum in Davos<\/strong>, Telangana secured Rs. 1.8 lakh crore in investments<\/strong>, which is expected to generate 50,000 new jobs across various sectors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognition and Global Collaboration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Chief Minister congratulated international dignitaries attending BioAsia-2025<\/strong> and urged them to leverage Telangana\u2019s thriving ecosystem. He also extended special congratulations to Professor Patrick Tan<\/strong>, who received the prestigious Genome Valley Excellence Award<\/strong> for his contributions to life sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
