Social Justice JAC Calls for Formation of Alternative Political Party for Telangana Bahujans<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad, March 05, 2025:<\/strong> The Social Justice Joint Action Committee (JAC)<\/strong> has called for a coordinated political movement by Telangana Bahujans<\/strong> to assert their self-respect, ensure equal development, and secure a rightful share in state power. The JAC has emphasized that despite numerous social movements and sacrifices, the Bahujan community has remained politically marginalized due to the absence of a dedicated political party representing their interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To further this cause, the Bahujan Rajya Adhikar Sadhana Samacharana (Bahujan Statehood Rights Conference)<\/strong> will be organized in Hyderabad on Saturday, March 15, 2025,<\/strong> in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Bahujan leader Kanshi Ram.<\/strong> The conference aims to bring together social activists, intellectuals, and students<\/strong> to discuss the political empowerment of BCs, SCs, STs, and minorities,<\/strong> who together constitute more than 90% of Telangana\u2019s population.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Demands of Social Justice JAC<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During a media conference, Social Justice JAC Chairman Prof. Prabhanjan Yadav,<\/strong> along with prominent leaders, outlined their core demands:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Nationwide Caste Census:<\/strong> The JAC has called for a caste-based census to accurately determine the socio-economic status of different communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Proportional Reservations for BCs in Legislatures:<\/strong> The JAC demands increased representation for Backward Classes (BCs) in legislative assemblies<\/strong> based on their population ratio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Budget Allocation Based on Population Ratio:<\/strong> Government funds and welfare schemes should be distributed proportionally to benefit all communities equitably.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Political Empowerment of Bahujans:<\/strong> The JAC asserted that state power must be in the hands of the marginalized communities<\/strong> to achieve true social and economic justice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Call for a \u2018Silent Vote Revolution\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Despite 75 years of independence<\/strong> and over a decade since Telangana\u2019s formation,<\/strong> the Bahujans continue to face social, economic, and political marginalization.<\/strong> The JAC expressed concern that oppression and discrimination persist, leading to a lack of opportunities and stagnation in all sectors.<\/strong> The leaders questioned:
    “Does power belong only to the dominant castes? Why do Bahujans, who are the majority, continue to be deprived of political power?”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Quoting Dr. B.R. Ambedkar\u2019s famous words, “State power is the solution to all problems,”<\/em> the JAC urged the people of Telangana to utilize their voting rights effectively and participate in the democratic process to secure political power for Bahujans.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Gathering of Prominent Leaders and Intellectuals<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The Bahujan Rajya Adhikar Sadhana Conference<\/strong> will witness the participation of 101 social activists, intellectuals, and student leaders<\/strong> committed to Bahujan political empowerment. Leaders present at the media conference included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
