New Delhi, March 9, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The All India Congress Committee (AICC)<\/strong> has officially announced its candidates for the upcoming biennial elections to the Telangana Legislative Council<\/strong>, which will be conducted through voting by the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge<\/strong> has approved the proposal for the candidature of the following three party nominees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Kethavath Shankar Naik<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Vijayashanti<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    In a strategic move, the Congress has also decided to allot one seat to the Communist Party of India (CPI)<\/strong> as part of its alliance strategy in Telangana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
