Telangana SSC Exams from March 21: Over 5.09 Lakh Students to Appear<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad:<\/em> The Telangana Secondary School Certificate (SSC) public examinations for the academic year 2024\u201325 will begin on March 21<\/strong> and continue until April 4<\/strong>. A total of 5,09,403 students<\/strong> from 11,547 schools<\/strong> across the state will appear for these crucial board exams, according to Krishna Rao, Director of the Government Examinations Department<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exam Schedule and Timing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The exams will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM<\/strong> daily. However, the First Language (Composite Course) exam<\/strong> will have an extended duration, concluding at 12:50 PM<\/strong>. Meanwhile, the Physical Science and Biological Science exams<\/strong> will be held for a shorter duration, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Statewide Exam Arrangements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Authorities have set up 2,650 examination centers<\/strong> across Telangana to accommodate the students. Of the total examinees, 2,58,895 are boys and 2,50,508 are girls<\/strong>. The examination department has taken extensive measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams. A total of 2,650 Chief Superintendents (CSs) and Departmental Officers (DOs)<\/strong> have been appointed, along with 28,100 invigilators<\/strong> to oversee the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hall Tickets and Guidelines for Students<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students can download their hall tickets<\/strong> from the official website www.bse.telangana.gov.in<\/strong>. They are advised to verify all details on the hall ticket in advance to avoid any last-minute issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While a five-minute grace period<\/strong> will be allowed before the official start time of the exam, Krishna Rao has urged students to arrive at their examination centers at least 30 minutes in advance<\/strong> to avoid any delays. Late arrivals beyond the grace period will not be permitted to enter the exam hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strict Monitoring and Security Measures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Board of Secondary Education has implemented stringent measures to prevent malpractices. Examination centers will be monitored by flying squads and special teams<\/strong> to ensure a fair and transparent process. Additionally, CCTV cameras<\/strong> have been installed at select centers for surveillance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state education department has also coordinated with local police and transport authorities<\/strong> to ensure smooth traffic movement near examination centers, enabling students to reach their venues on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
