Multiple incidents of trees and banners falling on electrical lines and poles were reported, leading to power outages in several areas. The Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) teams are working tirelessly to restore electricity and clear the debris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rain, which began in the late afternoon, triggered a series of incidents starting around 7:59 PM. At the AC Guards section, tree branches fell on the 11kV Bazharghat feeder, disrupting power supply. Shortly after, a large tree collapsed onto the 11kV Green Hills feeder, with restoration work currently underway. Similar incidents were reported in Malakpet, where a massive tree fell on an 11kV line, and in Motilal Nagar, where multiple trees impacted the feeder lines. In Saidabad colony\u2019s Jayanagar feeder, a heavy tree fell on an 11kV line and brought down an LT pole onto a car, with tree-cutting operations in progress to address the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strong winds also caused structural damage, with banners and hoardings falling onto high-voltage lines. At 8:04 PM, a banner was removed from the 33kV Attiveli feeder, while another hoarding cover fell on a 33kV line near Kritunga Hotel in Abdulapurmet at 8:05 PM. Additional incidents included a flex banner falling on the 33kV Bata Singaram feeder at Koheda village at 8:28 PM, and another banner removal operation underway on the Tellapur-Osman Nagar feeder by 8:48 PM. In a notable case near Sayuk Myfair, an 11kV cross arm along with the line snapped due to the heavy wind and gale at 8:07 PM, further complicating the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
