feat, sisters G. Amrutha Reddy and G. Gana Santhoshinee Reddy from Hyderabad have achieved their sixth consecutive world record in karate, celebrating the Telangana State Formation Day. The event took place at the GVR Karate Academy in Narayanaguda, where the duo showcased their extraordinary skills by performing 121 self-defense techniques across 11 categories in an astonishing 9 minutes and 36 seconds, surpassing their target of 11 minutes. This feat earned them entries in the Wonder Book of Records and the Limca Book of Records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sisters, under the guidance of their father and coach, Dr. G.S. Gopal Reddy, have been setting world records every odd year since 2015 to mark Telangana\u2019s formation on June 2, 2014. This year\u2019s record, achieved on May 25, 2025, marks their sixth global achievement, highlighting their consistent excellence in karate. Amrutha, a degree student, and Gana Santhoshinee, a karate black belt holder, demonstrated unparalleled skill and dedication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The record-breaking performance was certified by Bingi Narender Goud of the Wonder Book of Records and Lions Vijayalakshmi of the Limca Book of Records, who presented the sisters with certificates. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Himayatnagar Corporator Mahalakshmi Ramanna Goud, Kachiguda Corporator Kanne Uma Ramesh Yadav, Nallakunta Corporator Y.
