The Telangana Congress chief A. Revanth Reddy appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with the paper leak case of Telangana State Public Service Commission exams. He demanded that the SIT also summon state minister K.T. Rama Rao, claiming that the minister has all the information about the case.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revanth Reddy told reporters that he had informed SIT officials that KTR had already revealed everything even before the questioning of the accused. He alleged that KTR’s personal assistant was involved in the paper leak and that candidates from the mandal where KTR’s PA Tirupati and the accused Rajashekar Reddy hail from had secured over 100 marks in Group 1 prelims.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SIT is reported to be contemplating action against Revanth Reddy for failing to provide evidence of his allegations. The investigation team has also issued a notice to state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay for some allegations made by him. Sanjay has said that he would not appear before SIT but would share information if the state government orders a judicial probe by a sitting judge of the high court.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SIT has arrested nine persons so far in connection with the paper leak case, including two employees of TSPSC. Three more accused were arrested on Thursday. The investigation team is said to be taking legal opinion for action against Revanth Reddy for making baseless allegations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
