The performance comes at a time when Apple\u2019s global smartphone sales have plateaued, highlighting India\u2019s growing importance in its growth strategy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">India: Apple\u2019s New Growth Engine<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>India has now emerged as <strong>Apple\u2019s fourth-largest market globally<\/strong>, after the U.S., China, and Japan. The company assembled nearly <strong>\\$22 billion worth of iPhones<\/strong> in India in FY25\u2014a <strong>60% jump<\/strong> year-on-year\u2014as it diversifies supply chains away from China. Production is spread across <strong>five factories<\/strong>, including two recently launched plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retail Expansion: Bengaluru &amp; Pune Stores<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In line with its market growth, Apple is expanding its retail presence. Earlier this week, CEO <strong>Tim Cook<\/strong> inaugurated two new flagship outlets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Apple Hebbal, Bengaluru<\/strong> \u2013 Opened on September 2 at Phoenix Mall of Asia, this is Apple\u2019s <strong>third store in India<\/strong> and its first in South India.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Apple Koregaon Park, Pune<\/strong> \u2013 Opened on September 4 at KOPA Mall, marking Apple\u2019s <strong>fourth India store<\/strong> and its debut in Maharashtra outside Mumbai.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Both stores feature Apple\u2019s signature design, in-store support services, and localized cultural elements. Announcing the launches on X, Cook wrote: <em>\u201cSay hello to Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune! We are thrilled to continue to bring the best of Apple to customers across India at these two new stores.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strategic Outlook<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple\u2019s dual push\u2014<strong>expanding its premium retail network<\/strong> while <strong>boosting local manufacturing<\/strong>\u2014underscores India\u2019s growing role in its global ecosystem.
