Students Shine in Intermediate Results; Highest Pass Percentage in Five Years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad, April 12:<\/strong>
Students across Telangana have delivered an impressive performance in the Intermediate Public Examinations, registering the highest pass percentages in the last five years. The results reflect a steady upward trend, with both first and second-year outcomes showing notable improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first year, the pass percentage stood at 66.94%<\/strong>, while the second year recorded a significant 75.61%<\/strong>, up from 71.43%<\/strong> last year. Girls once again outperformed boys, continuing their dominance in academic results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results were officially released on Sunday by Government Advisor K. Keshava Rao<\/strong> and Education Secretary Yogita Rana<\/strong>, in the presence of senior officials including College Education Secretary Sridevasena, CGG DG Ravi Gupta, and Inter Board COE Jayapradha Bai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steady Rise in Performance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Over the past five years, the second-year pass percentage has shown consistent growth\u2014from 68.68% in 2022<\/strong> to 75.61% in 2026<\/strong>, marking this year as the best in recent times. Similarly, the first-year results also reached their highest level compared to previous years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First-Year Results<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Out of 4,89,123 students<\/strong> who appeared, 3,23,807 students passed<\/strong>. In the general category, girls achieved a pass percentage of 74.43%<\/strong>, significantly higher than boys at 59.21%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among districts, Medchal<\/strong> topped with 77.31%<\/strong>, followed by Rangareddy and Jayashankar Bhupalpally. Rajanna Sircilla<\/strong> recorded the lowest pass percentage at 49.05%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second-Year Results<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the second year, girls outperformed boys by a wide margin of nearly 12.79%<\/strong>. Girls secured 81.78%<\/strong>, while boys recorded 68.99%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medchal district again emerged as the top performer with 82.73%<\/strong>, while Rajanna Sircilla stood at the bottom with 58.69%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MPC Leads, HEC Lags<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Group-wise analysis shows MPC students leading the charts<\/strong>, with 78.01% pass rate<\/strong> in the second year, followed by BiPC at 76.04%<\/strong>. MEC recorded 67.91%<\/strong>, while CEC stood at 49.39%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, HEC group performance remained weak<\/strong>, with only 49.25%<\/strong> students passing in the second year and 34.34%<\/strong> in the first year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recounting from April 13<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students seeking recounting or re-verification of answer sheets can apply online from April 13 to April 20<\/strong>. The fee is \u20b9100 for recounting<\/strong> and \u20b9800 for re-verification<\/strong>. Applications must be submitted through the official Inter Board website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials advised students to carefully enter their personal details while applying and report any discrepancies in marks memos within ten days through their respective colleges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
