New Delhi, April 20, 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session-2 for Paper-1 (B.E.\/B.Tech.), bringing cheer to lakhs of engineering aspirants across the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For candidates who appeared in both sessions, the best NTA score from Session-1 (January) and Session-2 (April) has been considered as the final score. A total of 26 candidates<\/strong> have secured the perfect 100 percentile<\/strong>, emerging as national toppers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Performers Shine from Southern States<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the 100-percentile scorers, several candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have dominated the merit list. The complete list of 100-percentile holders (in ascending order of application number) includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andhra Pradesh produced four 100-percentile scorers \u2014 Pasala Mohith, Bijjam Venkata Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Thunga Durga Suprabhath, and Narendrababu Gari Mahith \u2014 making it one of the best-performing states.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Stringent Security Measures Ensured Fairness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The NTA adopted one of its most robust anti-cheating frameworks this year. Key measures included AI-based face comparison, mandatory Aadhaar e-KYC and live photo verification, 5G jammers at every centre, live CCTV surveillance with AI video analytics, and random deployment of 304 City Coordinators and 630 Observers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In Session-1, scores of 54 candidates were withheld for unfair means; in Session-2, 57 candidates faced similar action. Another 56 candidates had their results withheld due to discrepancies in documents or identity verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Next Steps<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The NTA Scores for Paper-2A (B.Arch.) and Paper-2B (B.Planning) will be announced separately. Candidates can download their scorecards from the official website www.nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The NTA has thanked all central and state authorities, Indian embassies, and examination functionaries for the smooth conduct of the exam held in 13 languages across 584 centres in India and 15 international cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
