The Congress party is set to launch its nationwide \u201cChhatron Ki Goonj\u201d (Voice of Students) campaign from Rajasthan’s Kota on Wednesday, with Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi leading the movement against examination paper leaks, recruitment irregularities, and rising unemployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The campaign aims to highlight issues affecting students, job aspirants, and young people across the country while drawing attention to concerns over transparency and fairness in the education and recruitment systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rahul Gandhi will begin the first phase of the nationwide agitation by interacting directly with students and aspirants preparing for competitive examinations in Kota, one of India’s largest coaching hubs. The Congress has chosen Kota as the launch venue to symbolize the concerns of millions of students striving for educational and employment opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ahead of the event, Gandhi reached out to students through social media, expressing solidarity with those affected by paper leaks, cancelled examinations, and delayed recruitment processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI know you’re exhausted. You’re angry. But remember this \u2013 when the government refuses to listen, you have to raise your voice louder,\u201d Gandhi said in a post on X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Calling for collective action, he added, \u201cLet’s come together and become a roar that can’t be ignored. Starting from Kota \u2013 then reaching every corner of the country. This is a fight for your future. And I’m with you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Announcing the campaign, Congress General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal said Rahul Gandhi would address a series of student conventions across the country. Following the Kota event, the campaign will continue in Allahabad on July 10, Patna on July 11, and Delhi on July 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Congress, recurring examination paper leaks, recruitment irregularities, increasing examination costs, and unemployment are putting the future of millions of young Indians at risk. The party intends to use the campaign as a platform to mobilize students, job aspirants, educators, youth organizations, and others affected by examination-related controversies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Venugopal stated that the movement has been launched under the leadership of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi to raise awareness about issues confronting India’s youth and to demand a transparent and accountable education and recruitment system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Local Congress leaders in Kota said the city was chosen as the starting point of the nationwide movement due to its reputation as the country’s premier coaching destination. They expressed confidence that the campaign would provide students from across India with an opportunity to voice their concerns and seek solutions to long-standing problems in education and employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preparations for the launch event are in full swing, with a team from the All India Congress Committee already in Kota to oversee arrangements and inspect potential venues. The Congress expects large participation from students, competitive examination aspirants, teachers, and youth groups as the campaign gets underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
