{"id":28469,"date":"2026-08-18T22:20:56","date_gmt":"2026-08-18T16:50:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vglobenews.com\/?p=28469"},"modified":"2026-08-18T22:20:58","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T16:50:58","slug":"fastag-local-pass-goes-digital-at-121-toll-plazas-across-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vglobenews.com\/?p=28469","title":{"rendered":"FASTag Local Pass Goes Digital at 121 Toll Plazas Across India"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New Delhi:<\/strong> The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has expanded the <strong>online FASTag Local Pass facility to 121 toll plazas across the country<\/strong>, allowing eligible commuters to apply for monthly local passes through the <strong>Rajmargyatra mobile app<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the digital facility eliminates the need for commuters to physically visit toll plazas and submit documents manually for obtaining a monthly local pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Local Pass Available Through Rajmargyatra App<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the Digital Local Pass system, residents living within a <strong>20-km radius of an eligible toll plaza<\/strong> can apply for the monthly pass through the Rajmargyatra app. The pass allows eligible users <strong>unlimited travel through the respective toll plaza during the month<\/strong>, subject to applicable rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first Digital Local Pass facility was introduced in <strong>July 2026 at the Mundka\u2013Bakkarwala Toll Plaza on Delhi\u2019s Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II)<\/strong>.
