{"id":28704,"date":"2026-09-25T20:45:13","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T15:15:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vglobenews.com\/?p=28704"},"modified":"2026-09-25T20:45:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T15:15:15","slug":"audi-begins-local-assembly-of-new-q3-suv-in-maharashtra-launch-set-for-october-16","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vglobenews.com\/?p=28704","title":{"rendered":"Audi Begins Local Assembly of New Q3 SUV in Maharashtra, Launch Set for October 16"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mumbai, September 25:<\/strong> German luxury automaker <strong>Audi<\/strong> has commenced local assembly of its all-new <strong>Audi Q3<\/strong> at the SAVWIPL manufacturing facility in <strong>Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra<\/strong>, ahead of the SUV&#8217;s scheduled launch in India on <strong>October 16, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new-generation Q3 will be powered by a <strong>2.0-litre petrol engine<\/strong> and will come with Audi&#8217;s <strong>quattro all-wheel-drive system<\/strong>, Audi India said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company described the new Q3 as a compact luxury SUV combining everyday practicality with dynamic driving capabilities. It will also feature several segment-first technologies and features aimed at enhancing its appeal among luxury vehicle buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bookings open for new Audi Q3<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Customers can book the all-new Audi Q3 through the <strong>Audi India website, myAudi Connect application and authorised Audi India dealerships<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commenting on the start of production, <strong>Piyush Arora, Managing Director and CEO of \u0160koda Auto Volkswagen India<\/strong>, said the commencement of Q3 production marked an important milestone for the company&#8217;s operations in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar facility demonstrated strong manufacturing capabilities and reflected the group&#8217;s commitment to expanding its brands in the Indian market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arora added that the latest Q3 would be produced in India while maintaining Audi&#8217;s global standards of quality, precision and engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audi expands local manufacturing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Local assembly of the Q3 strengthens Audi&#8217;s manufacturing presence in India and allows the company to produce one of its key compact luxury SUV models domestically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Audi India sold around <strong>4,510 vehicles in 2025<\/strong>, amid changing market conditions in the country&#8217;s luxury automobile segment. The company said improved customer confidence following the implementation of <strong>GST 2.0<\/strong> provided support to the luxury car market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Audi India had increased vehicle prices by <strong>up to 2 per cent from April 1, 2026<\/strong>, citing rising input costs and currency fluctuations.
