Navyashree, a woman who underwent a caesarean section, was found to have a cotton cloth left in her stomach by the doctors who delivered her baby. As a result, she suffered from severe abdominal pain for 16 months and was unable to eat properly. The negligence of the doctors at Jagityala District Area Hospital has caused outrage and calls for action to be taken against those responsible.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Navyashree went to a private hospital for treatment, where a scan revealed the cloth in her stomach. She was later admitted to a private hospital in Vemulawada, Sirisilla district, where the infected lumps were removed along with the cloth during surgery. Her family members attempted to seek an explanation from the doctors who operated on her at the government hospital but were unable to do so due to their unavailability.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jagityal collector Yasmin Bhasha has expressed serious concern about the incident and announced that a full inquiry will be conducted. She has promised that those responsible for the medical negligence will face action. This incident has raised questions about the standard of care at Jagityala District Area Hospital, where six pregnant women and infants have previously died due to medical negligence.
