He commended KCR for bringing leaders from various parties and states together at a time when the Constitution is facing challenges.
Vijayan criticized the BJP, saying that the followers of those who apologized to colonizers and promised to serve the imperial crown are in power today. He alleged that those in power today were not active during the national freedom struggle and do not understand the values on which the country is built.
