BSP Chief Mayawati spoke at the ‘Telangana Bharosa Sabha’ organized by the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) at the Sarurnagar Stadium on Sunday. Mayawati stressed the need for the community to follow the path shown by Jyotiba Poole, Ambedkar, and Narayanaguru and continue their struggle. Despite Ambedkar’s reservations, Mayawati spoke about the lack of development that has reached the SC and ST communities. She mentioned that the BSP is dedicated to the welfare of not only SCs but also tribal communities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayawati also criticized Telangana CM KCR for his statement that he would distribute 3 acres of land to poor Dalits in the state. She pointed out that the BSP-led Uttar Pradesh government has introduced many schemes for the development of SC, ST, and Back ward classes, weaker sections and has brought light to their lives. Mayawati directed party members to focus on making a dent in Telangana during the upcom<\/strong>ing elections<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayawati stated that the Telangana Chief Minister (CM), K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), should be defeated to remove the Constitution, and a BSP-led government should be formed in the state like Uttar Pradesh. She mentioned that the BSP state president, Dr. RS Praveen Kumar, had resigned from his valuable IPS job and is fighting for the people. Mayawati accused KCR of copying the programs done by BSP in Uttar Pradesh, including building houses for the poor and distributing free land to the landless poor. She criticized KCR for not running these programs and only putting them on paper.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayawati further added that the Congress government did injustice to the Backward Classes (BCs) and did not agree to commission for BCs’ reservations or giving Bharat Ratna to Dr. BR Ambedkar.
