Chandrasekhar Rao, has announced plans to develop a second airport in Hyderabad. The current international airport in the city serves around 2.5 crore passengers annually, necessitating the establishment of a second airport on the opposite side of the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"283\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/vglobenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_20230727_183016.jpg?resize=300%2C283&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7436\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/vglobenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_20230727_183016.jpg?resize=300%2C283&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/vglobenews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/IMG_20230727_183016.jpg?w=420&amp;ssl=1 420w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>At the Cabinet meeting, the state authorities approved an allocation of 253 acres for the airport in Warangal, the second-largest city in Telangana. However, they expressed concerns over the delay by the Centre in establishing the Warangal airport.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Furthermore, the Cabinet greenlit the establishment of eight medical colleges in the state, making Telangana the first in India to have one medical college in each district. Additionally, the approval was given to construct four Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) super specialty hospitals in various areas of Hyderabad.
