Hyderabad, July 05: The Telangana government has responded to the objections raised by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan regarding the proposed merger of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) with the government. The bill outlining the merger was sent to the Governor for approval but has halted at the Raj Bhavan pending her review.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government clarified that only the employees will be integrated into the government, and the organization will continue to function as it currently does. The Telangana government assured that there are no issues with the background of continuing the corporation as it is. It stated that details of central share, grants, and loans are not required for the merger, and the main purpose of the Amalgamation Bill is to protect the interests of the employees.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the explanation sent to the Governor, the workers will receive better salaries than they did under the previous corporation. All aspects related to the merger will be included in the guidelines to be formulated after the integration into the government.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding certain issues like the central government’s share and the 9th schedule, the Telangana government assured that they will be resolved similarly to how it was done in Andhra Pradesh.
