In a bid to offer a distinctive and memorable experience to railway passengers, the South Central Railway has extended one of its innovative concepts to another key railway station in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. As part of this endeavor, the Secunderabad Division of SCR has launched a “Rail Coach Restaurant” within the premises of the Necklace Road Railway station, providing food enthusiasts with a unique dining ambiance. This marks the second such coach restaurant in Telangana’s railway stations, following the earlier establishment of the “Restaurant on Wheels” at the Kacheguda Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Necklace Road Railway station ranks among the busiest rail stations in the suburban network of the twin cities and is surrounded by numerous picnic spots, attracting a substantial number of tourists daily. To cater to the discerning tastes of residents and visitors alike, the Necklace Road railway station was chosen as the ideal location for this coach restaurant concept. An unused rail coach has been meticulously refurbished with modern and aesthetically pleasing interiors to create an exceptional dining setting for passengers. The management of the “Rail Coach Restaurant” at the Necklace Road Railway station has been entrusted to M\/s. Boomerang Restaurant, Hyderabad, under a five-year agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This multi-cuisine restaurant occupies the available space in the circulating area, offering dining options to both railway travelers and the general public. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu, providing customers with the choice of dining in or taking away their orders. Located in one of Hyderabad’s popular areas, the Coach Restaurant initiative combines nostalgia and gastronomy, delivering an unforgettable dining experience to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager of SCR, commended the Secunderabad Division for its innovative approach, utilizing an unused rail coach to introduce this unique dining concept.
