Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, contesting on a Congress ticket from Paleru Assembly constituency, emerged with the highest assets among leaders who filed nominations. Among Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) candidates, Payla Shekhar Reddy from Bhuvanagiri reported assets worth hundreds of crores. Some candidates even declared significant amounts of gold in their wives’ possession.
Telangana Chief Minister and BRS President KCR, contesting in Gajwel and Kamareddy, revealed his financial details in the affidavit submitted during the nomination process. KCR disclosed Rs. 2,96,605 in cash and various assets, including gold, diamonds, and gems.
