Amit Shah Asserts BJP as People’s Party, Labels Others as Family-Centric
KORUTLA/JANGOAN: Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah declared that the BJP stands as the sole people’s party, contrasting it with Congress, BRS, and MIM, which he labeled as family-dominated entities. Shah asserted that the BRS government in the state is under the influence of MIM Chief Owaisi.
Addressing Sakala Janula Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha meetings in Korutla and Jangaon, Shah characterized other political groups as “2G, 3G, and 4G parties.” He highlighted the generational continuity within Congress, BRS, and MIM, criticizing them for prioritizing family interests over those of the common man.
Shah emphasized Telangana’s liberation from the Nizam’s rule, attributing it to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He criticized BRS President and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for not officially celebrating Liberation Day and pledged BJP’s commitment to annually observe September 17th, along with constructing a martyrs’ memorial at Bhairanpally.
Accusing the BRS government of being the most corrupt in the country, Shah promised an inquiry by a retired Supreme Court Judge into alleged corruption in projects like Kaleshwaram, Mission Bhagiratha, and Mission Kakatiya. He vowed to ensure accountability for those involved in corruption.
Shah concluded by praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, highlighting India’s global standing and the construction of a new Parliament. He participated in a road show in the Uppal assembly constituency in the evening.
