Title: Sharmila Extends Christmas Cheer with Gift to TDP’s Lokesh
Amaravati: In a surprising turn of events, Y.S. Sharmila, the sister of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, has extended a Christmas gift to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) General Secretary Nara Lokesh.
Lokesh shared a photo of the festive gift on ‘X’ day and expressed his gratitude to Sharmila. “Please accept my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful Christmas gifts. Nara family wishes you and your family Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” he conveyed.
Lokesh, the son of TDP supremo and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, shared the acknowledgment ahead of the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, scheduled to be held in April-May next year. Sharmila, who actively campaigned for her brother in the 2019 elections, founded the YSR Telangana Party in 2021 amid speculations of differences with him.

However, she chose not to participate in the recent Assembly elections in Telangana, citing her intention to avoid a division of anti-BRS votes. The exchange of Christmas greetings and gifts adds an interesting dimension to the political landscape in the lead-up to the upcoming elections.
