Aragen Life Sciences Announces Rs. 2,000 Crore Expansion in Hyderabad

In a significant boost to Hyderabad’s pharmaceutical landscape, Aragen Life Sciences is set to invest Rs. 2,000 crores for the expansion of its drug discovery and development services in Telangana. The expansion is expected to generate 1,500 new jobs, reinforcing Hyderabad’s position as a key player in the pharmaceutical industry in Asia.

During the World Economic Forum conference in Davos, Aragen Life Sciences CEO, Mani Kantipudi, met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to discuss the ambitious investment plans. Chief Minister Reddy expressed enthusiasm for the substantial investments, emphasizing their alignment with the state’s developmental goals.

CEO Mani Kantipudi shared his optimism about the expansion, highlighting the company’s commitment to enhancing services over the next five years. He praised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership, expressing confidence in Hyderabad’s continued prominence as a hub for new drug discoveries and research institutions nationally.

The Chief Minister, in turn, commended Aragen Life Sciences as a global leader in the pharmaceutical sector and stressed that the investments would contribute to the government’s vision for Telangana. He emphasized the creation of a robust ecosystem and outstanding infrastructure to support innovation, recognizing and nurturing local talent.

Aragen Life Sciences, with over 20 years of experience in drug creation, development, and manufacturing services, is poised to transform Hyderabad into a prominent contract research organization hub in the country. The company currently provides contract research and development services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, serving over 1,000 inventors globally in their pursuit of new drugs and devices.
