“Tragic Accident at Vistex Company’s Silver Jubilee Function in Hyderabad”

Tragedy struck during the Silver Jubilee celebrations at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad as a crane accident claimed the life of Vistex, Inc CEO Sanjay Shah, 56. The incident occurred at Limelight Garden, where a crane malfunction led to a fatal fall, causing severe injuries to Chairman Viswanadharaj and critically injuring Raju Datla, another company representative.

Abdullahpur Metropolitan Police swiftly responded, initiating an investigation into the unfortunate incident. The community mourns the loss of Sanjay Shah and extends heartfelt wishes for a swift recovery to those affected.

The silver jubilee festivities took a tragic turn when CEO Sanjay Shah and Raju Datla were being lowered in an iron cage, and a cable snapped, causing a fatal fall. Shah succumbed to his injuries, while Datla remains in critical condition.

A case has been registered against Ramoji Film City event management authorities, based on a complaint filed by another company official. Vistex had organized a two-day celebration for its 25th anniversary at Ramoji Film City, where the company had arranged accommodation for its staff.

Sanjay Shah, originally from Mumbai, founded Vistex Inc in 1999, specializing in revenue management solutions with a turnover of around $300 million. The Mumbai-born entrepreneur, who initially joined SAP in Chicago in 1993, later founded Hoffman Estates-based Vistex, Inc. The incident casts a somber shadow over the joyous occasion that was meant to mark Vistex Company’s significant milestone.
