Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to expedite the commencement of Musi Riverfront development work.

In a review session of the Musi Riverfront Development Project at the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) office in Nanakramguda, the Chief Minister was briefed on the Musi river boundaries and other pertinent details.

Reddy urged officials to swiftly initiate the Musi Riverfront development project, emphasizing the need for thorough cleaning of the entire Musi river beforehand.

Additionally, he instructed officials to design the Musi river development plans in a manner that integrates all historical structures along the river in the city.

Reddy also proposed delegating responsibilities among officials to expedite project implementation.

Following his visits to London and Dubai last month, where he inspected riverfront projects and met with representatives of foreign companies, design, planning, architecture firms, and consultancy experts, Reddy expressed optimism about the project’s potential.

Previously, the state government had announced significant interest from reputed global companies in executing the project, with officials from Meinhardt Group, a leading global planning, engineering, and project management company, meeting with Reddy in Hyderabad on February 6.
