New Delhi, Feb 20: IndiGo has announced the launch of daily direct flights from Bengaluru to Denpasar (Bali), starting March 29.

Following the commencement of operations to Jakarta in 2023, Bali will mark IndiGo’s second destination in Indonesia, further expanding its international network to 33 destinations and its overall network to 119 destinations.

Bookings for the new flight will open on February 20.

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed excitement about adding Denpasar to their network, emphasizing the city’s popularity among tourists due to its hassle-free visa process. He highlighted IndiGo’s commitment to providing superior connectivity and accessibility to customers.

Malhotra emphasized that the new flights aim to strengthen ties between India and Indonesia, promote tourism, and facilitate potential business collaborations.

Denpasar, the capital city of Bali, serves as the main gateway to Indonesia’s famous island, offering visitors a rich cultural experience with historical sites, vibrant markets, temples, museums, and a diverse culinary scene featuring local and international cuisines.
