In the video, Optimus is seen walking with assurance, drawing reactions from thousands of users. One user speculated about the robot’s gait resembling that of President Joe Biden, while another suggested a conspiracy theory about Biden being replaced by a robot powered by Gemini AI.
Expressing admiration for the robot’s progress, another user highlighted Optimus’s evolution from clumsy walking to its current capabilities, pondering when it might be deployed at job sites.
Last month, Musk shared another video of Optimus folding a shirt, clarifying that the robot currently lacks full autonomy but will eventually achieve it, utilizing the same artificial intelligence (AI) software and sensors found in Tesla’s advanced driver assistance system, ‘Autopilot’.
