Mumbai, March 20: Renowned actor Manoj Bajpayee, celebrated for his contributions to parallel cinema in India, is set to embark on a new journey with his upcoming film titled ‘Bhaiyya Ji’.
The teaser for the film, released on Wednesday, unveils Manoj in a massy action-hero avatar, whose very name instills fear and reverence.
Packed with high-speed shots, the teaser establishes Manoj’s character as one to be reckoned with.
Reflecting on his role, Manoj Bajpayee remarked, “Bhaiyya Ji had to be a character audiences cannot easily forget, especially since ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ marks my 100th film in the industry. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, who previously collaborated with the actor on ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’, expressed his excitement, stating, “Working with Manoj Sir and Vinod Ji on ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ was truly enriching. It’s a dream come true to embark on another passionate project with them. ‘Bhaiyyaji’ is a project close to our hearts, and Manoj Sir has invested his soul into the character. Produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Samiksha Oswal, Shael Oswal, Shabana Raza Bajpayee, and Vikram Khakhar under the banners of Bhanushali Studios Limited, SSO Productions, and Aurega Studios production, the film is slated for release on May 24, 2024.
